Great Stay with Room for Improvement
Unfortunately, noise from a nearby party disrupted our sleep, so I recommend requesting a high-floor room during event seasons. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The accommodation was fairly clean, the room was spotless. The huge bathroom was the best. The breakfast was satisfactory, with lots of different options. The hotel had marvellous and brilliant location next to football stadium, and Sheffield. Also, I was 15 minutes by walk from a massive glasshouse.

Nice and very approachable staff, marvellous breakfasts, good job!
Fairly clean and pleasant hotel with good view over the town. Quiet room with exceptionally comfortable bed, an individual safe, an iron, and a kettle. A contemporary decor.

Location near the center
I can't stand the carpet floor and curtain in the shower. I think they're antihygienic.

Good hotel close to the city center. Plenty of own parking spaces.
Directly on a main road, therefore windows closed. Restaurant on-site is much more expensive than in the pleasure mile, the London Street.

carpet on the floor and curtain in the shower because I find them unhygienic.

The curved woodwork at reception showed some serious style, really elevating the experience as soon as you step inside. The great bath offered a solid way to unwind after a long day-even for a guy like me who's carried more than a few heavy loads.
Paid parking surprised me right from the get-go, a steep £15 per night to park when I thought I'd booked free parking. The room setup is quirky, flipping on the toilet light also switches on the main lights-definitely not ideal for stealth missions after your roommate's out cold. The gym was a bit underwhelming, and I never thought I'd need to log into an app just to cycle. Plus, running out of chips at the bar by 8 PM? Leaves a bad taste when the place isn't even packed.

They could not give me the invoice on the day I left the accommodation, they promised to send them to me by email but I did not receive one of them. Days later I also received a charge that I claimed by email of more than 500€.

The doubletree had spacious twin rooms that were really comfortable. It is conveniently located next to the sheffield united stadium, great for our family trip. We especially appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.

the staff were friendly and helpful---rooms were comfortable with lots of amenities. central for exploring the peak district.
could do with the option of more light to read in the evenings in rooms. The bar and room menu were not as attractive as the previous as the previous one

Great for Game Nights!
So, me and my husband stayed here for some football legends night. The room was cozy, but a bit dark for our taste. Loved the bathroom, though-the shower could've been better, the head was basic and didn't adjust. Breakfast was decent, and the hot chocolate at the bar was fab, but we were bummed to be cut off at 9:45! It's a solid spot for match days.
